about the superman topic…. He is neither photovoltaic nor photosynthetic. He is always with his superpowers because he lives off of cosmic rays and cosmic radiation. this is why he has powers even at night.
I’m inclined to disagree, Saxon. His body acts as a battery for the solar energy he gets during the day but his powers will fade if he over-exerts himself or goes too long without exposure to the rays of a yellow sun. However, one 10-12 hour night-time period generally isn’t enough to leave him powerless.
