The guys are sure to get this problem solved, they just need some organic matter to be broken down over a few million years until it’s some sort of fuel… made from fossils. That would do the trick!
01:03:01 – PaleoPOWs are as follows: Patrick cheated by using a facebook post from David Precht earlier when we talked with Seth Shostak. Elli wants to know if you can smell in space. And Ryan gets some love for the “sort of side” from Danielle when it comes to stripping.

I caught up! Finally!
Well, I was busy donating platelets while listening, so after I was done, I celebrated with some well deserved cranberry juice and oreos. Great interview with Dr. Shostak… the Are We Alone podcast is always great, but it was nice to hear him outside of it, too.
Definitely enjoyed your takes on alternative energy and its supporters. While I agree that getting off of fossil fuels is a great idea, I never cease to be amazed at the uber-greenies who busily email and tweet and facebook about saving the planet by stopping oil drilling *now*, never realizing how much energy their mere presence online demands…nevermind what went into their computer/laptop production, etc. etc.
Thanks…and now that I’ve run out of episodes, I’m definitely waiting for the next one. Now I can finally catch up on all those old Are We Alone episodes!
