About Ben

Hello, i’m a PhD student in the Department Mathematics and Statistics at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. I did my master’s at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario; and I got my BSc from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC. I study classical General Relativity, and a little Quantum gravity. Whenever I meet some new idea I ask “how does that fit into the system as I understand it?” I wrote a popular paper about Superman that attracted the notice of the paleopals; and I spend some of my free time every autumn researching zombies… Not everything in this world is mathematics and physics, but it’s amazing how many things are! I like to drink pop.

If you were hoping to read his paper here’s a link to that too:

Welcome Paleopal Ben! (Aka Token Canadian)
The Paleoposse is glad to have you, even if you spell words like “color” and “theater” wrong. You are very polite, but remember you can jump all over Americans in a conversation and not offend…we basically expect it.

    thanks!
but you should spell it like “colour”.

I just have to say that I *loved* the superman paper. It was awesome. :D Some kids in my AP Chem class and me listened to that section of the Science…sort of Podcast and we all were like “Oh wow, I never thought about it like that!”
