Support the Show

buddy_jesus

First of all, thanks for clicking on this page. We’re touched.

The easiest way for you to support the show is to download it and enjoy it. Presumably you’ve already done that or you wouldn’t be here.

The next step is telling a friend about the show and to have them tell their friends. After that, we’d really appreciate it if you would leave us a good review at wherever you go to download the show (iTunes, podcast.com, Podcast Alley, etc.). If you want to shoot us an email, join our Facebook fan page, follow us on twitter, or put a link to our site from your website or blog, it makes us feel good and we know that people are listening.

If that simply is not enough for you and you have a burning desire to do more, then we’d be thrilled if you’d link from our page to shop at our affiliates (located on the right side of the webpage). We get a (very) small percentage of your purchase if you use those links. Finally, if you are enjoying the show enough to contribute some cash directly to it, then you can use our “donate” button (again on the righthand side of the page) to give us a few bills (even $1 or $2 goes a long way). It’s operated by Paypal so it’s safe and easy to use a credit card.

Thanks,
The Paleopals

Greetings from Texas. I have recetly discovered your podcast and listened to all of them. You guys are doing a very good job and I am appreciative of having something else to listen to on my way to work. You are the only podcast I will regularly listen to other than Skeptics Guide to the Universe. Anyways, I don’t know if you ever plan on answering questions on your show, but if you do I would like to be the first. Of course the question is going to be scientific and challenge your critical thinking skills. The question: The girl who does the introductions to your segments sounds like she is really good looking… Is she? OK. Mentally chew on that one and get back to me when you can. Thanks, and keep up the good work.

    Hey, Guys,
Check out these science fair “projects.” I think you could do a separate show on each one.
    Best wishes, Andy

    Thanks Andy,
Yeah, that should take care of show topics until something like July 2010!

Greetings from SoCal. I generally enjoy the passive side of entertainment, but curiosity got the better of me while listening to Episode 26. So off I went to the world wide interweb where I deftly Googled your site.
The show’s view of science appears to swing from insightful to whimsical, but never fails to entertain. I’m pretty sure the geek side occasionally holds the show hostage and demands homage before releasing you back to the various restrooms in which you record. On that note; Ryan, what the ****!
Is there no sound leveling technology capable of saving my hearing?
Anyway, thanks for the fun! As the rightful King Genius of Everywhere other than Science Town, I hereby declare that the minions shall immediately go to itunes and write a seriously good review for these gentlemen. NOW! While I enjoy a Purple Haze upon my throne.

  • Ryan says:

    Hey Grant,

We discover said sound leveling technology around episode 10, those early episodes hurt me too, and I’m working on fixing them in my spare time. Thanks for the kind words and thanks for overcoming passivity to interact!

  • Love the show I found it late so I get to listen to all 78 that I have.already nearing the end and will down load more . Here is a experiment one you probably have done already. Put a grape in the microwave and it turns? to plasma. Why? science sort of guys why?… p.s. use a half a grape.

Thanks for making my favourite science podcast. It’s the first free thing I’ve ever decided to pay for except for museums and the like. I feel its worth every penny. It doesn’t sound like you guys make any money from the show, but if half the people listening donated a small amount a month like me I’d like to think you could cover your costs, and maybe even get paid, which I really think you deserve.
